Gov Ortom to be honoured by Rivers State

Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State, will be presented with one of Rivers State’s highest honors today in Port Harcourt.

Governor Nyesom Wike will present Governor Ortom with the award, which is known as the “Grand Service Star of Rivers State (GSSRS)”.

Speaking at an event yesterday regarding Governor Ortom’s selection for the honor, Governor Wike referred to Governor Ortom as a true friend of the people of Rivers who is reliable and trustworthy.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at Government House, Port Harcourt this afternoon.
