Some of the responsibilities include regularly counselling and motivating leaders on the virtues of peace, political inclusion, and integrity, as well as fostering a strong economy that drives collective prosperity.

During his visit to Bissau, President Buhari and the Nigerian delegation will hold a bilateral meeting.

The Nigerian president will be accompanied on the trip by Amb. Zubairu Dada, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Maj. Gen. Mohammed B. Monguno (Rtd), and Amb Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency.
