The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has explained why Nigerians should vote him as the next president in the 2023 elections.

Tinubu highlighted his achievements when he was governor of Lagos State between 1999 and 2007 as signs of what he is capacity of doing if he is elected president.

When asked Why should Nigerians be voting for him during an exclusive interview with BBC Africa Reporter, Peter Okwoche, on ‘Focus on Africa’, Tinubu answered: “Because I am different. I am Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I have governed Lagos. I’ve built a modern state that could be a country on its own”, he said.

“I’ve led an administration that is so prudent, from 600 million from internally generated revenue to 5 billion a month. That’s a record. Nobody else can brag about that.
