The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has disclosed those funding the sit-at-home order in the South East.

Kanu said “enemies of his peaceful movement” are the ones behind the unrest and upheaval in the beleaguered region.

He made the disclosure at the Department of State Services, DSS, in Abuja during his routine meeting with his legal team.

A statement by his lead Counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, said Kanu commended the people of the South East for ignoring the recent sit-at-home order in the region.

Kanu implored people of the South East to fish out these criminals from their hideouts.

“Onyendu Kanu directed that the criminals who are still on rampage, ostensibly being funded by the enemies of his peaceful movement in their desperate bid to ensure that our land is completely destroyed, should be fished out from their hideouts. Onyendu further requested that UmuChineke should monitor the modus operandi of these soulless beings and discretely smoke them out from their various hideouts,” the statement reads partly.

The IPOB leader condemned the killings and destruction of these criminal elements.

Lately, there has been a series of killings and destructions in the South East.

The attacks followed the sit-at-home order issued by Finland-based agitator, Simon Ekpa.
