The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has blamed former Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu for the current insecurity in the Lokpanta area of Abia State.

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the separatist group accused Kalu, who is now Senate Chief Whip, of handing over the area to Fulani terrorists in a statement.

In a statement signed by its spokesman, Emma Powerful, IPOB claimed that Kalu is to blame for the crisis in the Lokpanta area.

IPOB claimed that when he was governor of Abia State, he ceded the place to Fulani terrorists under the guise of the RUGA program in order to pursue his presidential ambitions.

The group stated that it would soon reclaim the area from those to whom Kalu had ceded it, noting that he had no right to do so.

Powerful observed that;

We the global family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by the indefatigable liberator Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu wish to tell Ndigbo that Orji Uzor Kalu created the current insecurity crisis along Lokpanta during his term in government in Abia State.

Kalu, out of desperation to become President of Nigeria, allocated Lokpanta to Fulani terrorists masquerading as herdsmen for RUGA. In the end, Fulanis deceived him, took over the area, and refused to give him the presidential ticket. Instead of a presidential ticket, they rewarded him with imprisonment. They freed him from prison to continue working for the Fulanization agenda in Abia State.

Today, Orji Uzor Kalu is flippantly talking to the public with different stories about Lokpanta. Orji Uzor Kalu ridiculed himself by saying that he gave Lokpanta to Fulanis for revenue generation. Abians should ask him to show them how much revenue Abia State has generated from Lokpanta.

This gullible man forgot that Fulanis don’t coexist with other ethnic groups. Conquest, rule and enslavement are in their DNA.

Today, Lokpanta is a security risk not only to Abians but to anyone plying that route where many have fallen victim to Fulani kidnapping and killing.

The group insisted that Kalu had no right to cede Lokpanta to alleged Fulani terrorists because the land belongs to the people of Abia State.

Lokpanta is Abia State land and Orji Uzor Kalu has no right to mortgage the Abians’ safety for his personal political interest. Therefore, IPOB has the responsibility to recover the land from where the Fulani terrorists are launching attacks on our people.

Kalu can rant as much as he wants but we must remain resilient to push the terrorists out of Lokpanta because the rate of killing and kidnapping happening along that area is so alarming to the point our people are no longer travelling on that road.

Kalu should stop deceiving the public and tell them the reason he gifted an Abia State land to Fulanis for RUGA without their consent, the group stated.
