Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has sparked outrage after making a derogatory statement about Igbos during a campaign rally in Enugu State.

WITHIN NIGERIA previously reported that the APC presidential candidate was met at the Enugu International Airport by Governors Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, former Senate President Ken Nnamani, and other South East APC chieftains.

Tinubu was accompanied by Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, his Jagawa counterpart, Abubakar Badaru, and other APC national leaders.

Tinubu warned the Igbos at a campaign rally in Enugu’s Michael Okpara Square that they would be marginalized until he received their support.

The former Lagos State governor acknowledged that the Igbos are working hard but urged them to work even harder because no one will give them credit until they deliver victory.

Tinubu claims that until he becomes President of Nigeria, the Igbos will receive nothing more than a slight clap or a half-soaked slice of bread.
