The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo has urged the Federal Government under Muhammadu Buhari to release the leader of Indeigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Gov. Soludo made the call at the National Campaign flag-off of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) today 14th January, 2023.
He asked the Federal Government to release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally and also guaranteed to be his surety for Court bail if the Federal Government cannot release him unconditionally.
He vowed to take care of Nnamdi Kanu by offering him Security, House in Awka and anything that is required to keep him safe with promise of releasing him back to the Federal Government whenever they need him for the ongoing Trial.
The Governor said that Nnamdi Kanu’s release will help in restoring security in the South East region of Nigeria
