The Parish Priest of Saint George’s Catholic Church Omu Ekiti in Oye Local Government, Reverend Father Michael Olofinlade has been abducted.
He was abducted between Itaji and Ijelu Ekiti Saturday evening while returning from Ado Ekiti,the Owajumu of Omu Ekiti, Oba Adeyeye Ogundeyi, disclosed.
The monarch made the disclosure in an interview with Progress FM in Ado Ekiti.
The Monarch explained that security agencies and Local hunters have since been mobilised to go after the abductors and rescue the Reverend Father.
Reverend Olofinlade kidnapping is the latest in the long list of abductions as the security crisis that rocks the south western state deepens.
