Cristiano Ronaldo, the Al-Nassr forward, has responded to his team’s 1-0 Saudi Pro League win over Ettifaq on Sunday.
Ronaldo finally made his competitive debut for Al Nassr, as Anderson Talisca scored the game’s lone goal against Ettifaq.
The victory over Ettifaq keeps Al-Nassr a point ahead of Al Hilal at the top of the table, despite having played one fewer game than their nearest rivals.
Reacting, Ronaldo, in a tweet via his Twitter handle after the game, hailed his teammates for their performances against the visitors.
The former Manchester United forward tweeted, “First game, first win – well done guys. Thanks to all the fans for incredible support.”
Ronaldo joined Al Nassr last month on a reported £175million-a-year contract until 2025.
