Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has said Arsenal are favourites to win the 2022/2023 Premier League season.
He noted that Manchester City have not been convincing this season and “can’t get back to their best.”
The Gunners lost 1-0 at Everton on Saturday – only their second defeat of the campaign.
However, the next day, City failed to close the gap to two points, as they also lost 1-0 to Tottenham.
Explaining why he feels Arsenal will be crowned champions, Carragher said on The Overlap: “I’ve tipped them for the title because I’m not sure Man City can get back to their best.
“That buffer Arsenal have right now is quite sizable. I think they will hold on.
“You don’t look at City and think they’re going to win every game. It doesn’t feel like they’re quite there right now. Arsenal are in a really good position.”
