In Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, a furious mob set a yet-to-be-identified suspected robber on fire.

In a widely shared video, the suspect was seen standing where the fire was, frantically running around and screaming for help.

In order to avoid being impacted by the raging fire, terrified bystanders, including drivers, kept a safe distance.

The video also showed some young people who were thought to have lit the victim throwing more tires at him while others watched and recorded him slowly burning to death.
