Brig-Gen Yusha’u Dogara Ahmed, the director general of the National Youth Service Corps program (NYSC), has cautioned corps members against traveling at night.
He advised them to carry out their electoral responsibilities with a strong sense of duty and neutrality.
Brig-Gen Ahmed thanked the corps members for meeting standards during the orientation program on behalf of the Katsina State Coordinator, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad.
He urged them to build on the skills acquired from the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme by availing themselves of opportunities for post-camp training as well as integrate with members of their host communities
He said: “Corps members must shun criticising the tradition and culture of their host communities. Corps Employers should always accept the Corps members posted to them and help in mentoring them in good faith”.
