The biggest market in Borno State, Monday Market in Maiduguri, has been engulfed by fire.
According to Daily Trust, the fire started around 2am on Sunday and has spread to different parts of the market.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but efforts are ongoing to put it out, no life has been lost in the inferno so far.
The fire is coming amid the ongoing presidential and National Assembly elections across the country. Results of the elections have started trickling in when the fire began.
