The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state executive committee in Kebbi State has authorized the immediate suspension of two former ministers, Barr Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and Alh Buhari Bala, as well as five other members.
Barr Kabiru Tanimu Turaki is a senior advocate of Nigeria, a former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, former supervising Minister, Ministry of Labour, having served from 2013–2015 and 2014–2015 respectively while Buhari Bala is a Nigerian Chartered accountant and politician who served as Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs from 1997 until the transition to civil rule in 1999.
Kebbi PDP secretary Abubakar Bawa Kalgo announced the ex-Ministers were suspended with Haruna Saidu Dandio, Sani Bawa Argungu, Bala Abdullahi Dole Kaina, and Maryam Isah for alleged anti-party activities.
He said the suspension takes effect from Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
