Samuel Chukwueze, a Villareal and Nigeria international, has been nominated for La Liga Player of the Month for March.
Chukwueze’s performance for the Yellow Submarine side was impressive.
Villarreal collected seven points in three La Liga games this month.
In March, the 23-year-old assisted on three of the club’s six goals.
Six other players were also nominated for the award.
The other nominees are Antione Griezmann, David Silva, Raphinha, Iago Aspas and Borja Iglesias.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has refused to make promises ahead of the 2023 AFCON clash against Guinea Bissau in abuja on Friday.
The Eagles are scheduled to play the Djurtus in a two-legged affair as they bid to book their place at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast next year.
The first leg holds at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 24, before the Eagles travel to Guinea for the second leg March 27.
