The Nigerian Naval College (NNC) commissioned 156 new sub-lieutenants on Saturday following a ritual passing out parade in Onne, a suburb of Port Harcourt, Rivers State’s capital.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt the commissioned officers had just successfully completed an intensive course designed for cadets of special duty pre-commissioning training 2022.

The graduates were also given individual and collective Presidential commissions, as well as an oath of allegiance in accordance with existing military traditions.

Maj. General Bashir Salihi Magashi (rtd), represented by Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral AZ Gambo, charged the officers to be loyal to constituted authority and to never allow personal interests to take precedence over national interests.
