On Thursday, President Muhammadu Buhari reacted to the death of Hajiya Ladi Bako, wife of late Kano State Military Governor Audu Bako.

Buhari mourned the death of Ladi Bako, who was one of the most powerful women in the political system during her time, alongside family, friends, the government, and the people of Kano and Jigawa states.

Garba Shehu, a Senior Special Assistant to the President, revealed this in a statement.

Buhari added that the deceased would be remembered for her devotion to the Kano community.

“May Allah give courage and perseverance to those she left behind to bear this irreparable loss.”
