The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the dates for the online registration for the 2023 Batch A Stream II.

WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the NYSC revealed the new dates in a post on its official Twitter handle on Saturday.

According to the Corps, registration will begin on Tuesday, April 11, and will end on Monday, April 17, 2023.

Sunday Dare, the Minister for Youth and Sports Development, announced in March a 22-member Inter-Ministerial committee to oversee the scheme’s 50th anniversary, which is set to take place in May.

N21 Billion Needed To Fix National Stadium In Lagos – Sports Minister

Meanwhile, Sunday Dare, Minister of Youth and Sports Development, has revealed that his ministry requires no less than 21 billion naira to repair the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.

Sunday Dare revealed in a series of tweets on Friday that the National Stadium in Surulere had been completely abandoned for over 17 years before his administration took office in 2019.

According to the minister, his administration began working to restore the stadium when he became sports minister, beginning with the pitch, scoreboard, and tracks.

Dare, on the other hand, lamented that his administration lacks the necessary funds to completely repair the stadium. He noted that the sports ministry has only 500 million naira of the 21 billion naira required for total site renovation.
