According to our source, the passengers were on their way to a burial ceremony of one of their friends when the ugly incident occured.

According to an eye witness, “the bus collided with a trailer, leading to the death of almost all the passengers in the bus.”

WITHIN NIGERIA also gathered that their corpse have been deposited at Ezzangbo general mortuary.

It was also revealed that the passengers were mainly women heading for a burial, though not the University students as being speculated by some persons in many quarters.

However, all efforts to get the reaction of the Police Public Relations Officer of Ebonyi state command, Chris Anyanwu proved abortive as he couldn’t pick his calls.
