Uros Matic, the brother of ex-Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic, has revealed that he was delighted when Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.

After his contract with Manchester United was mutually terminated last year, Ronaldo, 38, joined Al-Nassr.

With 12 goals scored so far in the Saudi Pro League, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is off to a strong start.

Speaking to ArabNews, Matic said, “I was really happy when Cristiano came because it is good for all of Saudi football, for all of the players who play here.
