Tinubu: You’re his only true adviser, be patient – Yar’Adua’s wife to Remi

Turai, the late President Musa Yar’Adua’s wife, advised Remi Tinubu, the wife of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on Saturday.

Turai urged Remi to be patient because she is Tinubu’s only true adviser.

She insisted that while others would tell Tinubu what he needed to hear, she should never stop advising him.

This was revealed by the former First Lady during an interview with BBC Hausa Service.

According to Turai: “This is because if her husband would be like Umaru, who stood for the right course, she would be the target.

“She should be patient and never relent in advising him. She is the only one that will genuinely advise him.

“Others would only tell him what he wants to hear.

“The wife is the only one that would give him information and ask him to investigate.”
