Gunmen have kidnapped nine children and grandchildren of the Emir of Kagarko, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, in Kagarko Local Government Area in Kaduna State.

It was gathered that the incident happened when the suspected kidnappers stormed the Emir’s palace on Sunday night and also abducted three other people in the town

According to Daily Post, one of the members of the community, Alhaji Musa Jibril, said that the bandits stormed the town around 11:15 pm and headed straight to the Emir’s palace. The gunmen took away nine children and grandchildren and his youngest wife, who later escaped, he claimed.

Jibril added that the gunmen also abducted three other members of the community, including a lady. They also injured a villager, Audu Kwakulu of Ungwan Pah, who is presently at the hospital receiving treatment.
