Oby Ezekwesili, former Minister of Education and World Bank Vice President (Africa) has denied reports that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), said President-elect Bola Tinubu would fix Nigeria.

According to several online reports, Adeboye made the statement on Sunday during the monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG branch in Ebute-Metta.

Pastor Dele Balogun, the cleric’s special assistant, was said to have represented him.

Mrs. Ezekwesili, on the other hand, stressed in a tweet on Tuesday that Adeboye delivered a sermon on Sunday and never mentioned Tinubu.
