The unfortunate death of Whitney Adeniran, a student at Chrisland Schools Opebi in Lagos, has a fresh twist as witness Ademoye Adewale disputed the first autopsy results.

Cotton candy vendor Adewale, who was present during the school’s sporting events, has cast doubt on the validity of the alleged cause of death, electrocution.

Adewale vehemently argued at a court proceeding that he had never used his equipment to cause an electrocution and that the area where the incident occurred was free of exposed wires.

His testimony contradicts the findings stated in the autopsy report. As a result of this testimony, the hearing was adjourned until May 22 to allow for further proceedings in this case.
