The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Amazing Grace District Headquarters, Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos, has refuted the report that Emmanuel Awode and Olusegun Fabunmi are using the correspondence of the church for fraudulent activities.

District Secretary of the church, Abioye Owolabi, during a media briefing, yesterday, said it was misleading and misinforming.

He said at no time were Awode and Fabunmi members of the church.

Owolabi, who said it became necessary to refute the misleading report and set the record straight to the public, however, said he sincerely apologises to Awode and Fabunmi for any inconvenience the report might have caused them.

“I need to tender my unreserved apologies to Emmanuel Awode and Olusegun Fabunmi on behalf of the church as the report did not reflect the position of the church.”

The District Secretary reiterated the commitment of the church in propagating the gospel for the benefit of mankind.

He, however, quashed insinuations and speculations that the church and its branches around the world are not in operation, stressing that the branches are still functioning effectively.
