The National Coalition of All Progressive Congress (APC) Support Groups in the 19 Northern States has urged elected members of Nigeria’s 10th National Assembly and Nigerians to support Hon. Tajudeen Abbas and Hon. Benjamin Kalu as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, respectively.
Dr. Maina Gimba, national president of the support groups, made the call on Saturday while reading a text of a press conference jointly signed by the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Comrade Mohammed Sani Dikko, the Programme Consultant, Prince Elijah Jibrin, Hajia Ladi Abdullahi Kafanchan, women representative, Sagir Umar, and the Adviser, Mallam Yakubu.
The groups expressed confidence that if given the opportunity, Hon. Abbas will deliver, adding that Abbas’ choice is for national unity and stability.

Hon Tajudeen Abbas is a bridge-builder who understands the strategic importance of representatives in Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
The group recalled that the north gave the highest number of votes that produce Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s 16th President.
