Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the 14th Emir of Kano, arrived at the Villa just before 5:00 p.m. and is currently with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
His visit comes just one week after the President suspended Godwin Emefiele, immediate past Governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank.
Recall that the Department of State Services (DSS) declared Emefiele to be in its custody on Saturday.
Both are meeting for the first time since Tinubu took office as president on May 29, however the details of their meeting have not yet been made public.
