Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu has been appointed press secretary to Deputy Governor Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo by Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Sanusi Tofa, his chief press secretary, said this in a statement that was made available to newsmen on Friday.
Shu’aibu graduated from Bayero University in Kano with a degree in English literature. He served as the Chairman of the Kano Correspondents’ Chapel and a correspondent for ThisDay Newspaper prior to his appointment.
Others appointed as personal aides to the deputy governor are Lawan Adamu Miko, Senior Special Assistant, Protocol, Abubakar Tijjani Kura, Senior Special Assistant, Administration and Muhammad Garba Gwarzo,Senior Special Assistant, Political Matters.
Others include Abubakar Salisu Mijinyawa, Special Assistant, Domestic , Usman Nura Getso, Personal Assistant, Administration and Hamza Ahmad Telan Mata, Personal Assistant, Photography.
According to the statement, all the appointments are with immediate effect.
