Zinedine Zidane, a former Real Madrid player and manager, has stated that the club’s new signing, Jude Bellingham, is ready to play for the LaLiga giants.
The England international recently completed a transfer to Real Madrid, becoming the club’s second most expensive signing in history.
Bellingham joined Carlo Ancelotti’s side from Borussia Dortmund for €103 million and has been given the No. 5 shirt, following in the footsteps of Zidane.
Zidane, a Real Madrid legend as both a coach and a player, has spoken highly of Bellingham’s acquisition.
He said, according to Madrid Zone: “Bellingham is an important player. He’s ready to play for Real Madrid.”
The England international scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 42 matches across competitions last season.
