Mr. Alimi further indicated that a subsequent batch of the relief package, containing 600 bags of rice and maize, is anticipated to be received by the state government. He assured the public that as soon as the state has received the complete consignment, the distribution process will commence.

The statement partly read, “We hereby wish to inform you that the second batch of federal government food palliative distribution is poised to commence as soon as possible, and you are scheduled to receive 14,516 bags of 50kg rice and 3,200MT of maize.
