On Monday, the Adamawa State Police Command publicly paraded 32 individuals suspected of involvement in robbery and kidnapping.

Among those exhibited as suspects, Mustapha Mohammed was notably linked to the abduction of Zainab Abbas, the wife of an Adamawa State High Court judge. The incident occurred when she was taken from her residence in Nyibango, a residential area in Yola North Local Government Area, back in June.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, spoke to the press during the presentation of the suspects. He provided a list of items recovered from them, which included 13 AK-47 rifles, five locally crafted pistols, four pump-action shotguns, and a sum of N1,689,000 in cash, along with other items.

Following this, Nguroje guided journalists to the office of the state Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola. Commissioner Babatola acknowledged the contributions of 11 police officers and four hunters who played a pivotal role in the successful apprehension of these suspects. Most of the recognized police operatives hailed from the Crack Squad of the state command.
