Prince Afolabi Ghandi Laoye, a former pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, came in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, on Friday for a religious ceremony and his installation as the new Soun of Ogbomosoland.
On December 12, 2021, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi made his way to the great beyond, leaving the Soun of Ogbomoso stool vacant.
Laoye, who was located in the United States of America, flew into Ogbomoso early in the morning in a private helicopter and then proceeded to the palace after landing at the grammar school.
