  • Adolphus Wabara, PDP BoT Chairman, urges party members to avoid making inflammatory public remarks regarding the ongoing presidential election case
  • He calls for restraint and emphasizes the party’s pursuit of justice in the Supreme Court following the tribunal’s dismissal of petitions

Adolphus Wabara, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) board of trustees (BoT), has urged party members to refrain from making incendiary remarks about the upcoming presidential election dispute.

Wabara addressed the BoT on Thursday during a meeting held at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.

I appeal to all members of the BOT to refrain from making provocative and incisive public statements about the ongoing presidential election case and the party as we seek justice at the supreme court, he said.

Last week, the presidential election tribunal dismissed numerous petitions filed by the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging President Bola Tinubu’s election victory on February 25.

The five justices, led by Haruna Tsammani, unanimously concluded that Abubakar could not substantiate allegations of vote manipulation and irregularities.
