  • The governor inaugurated 30 special advisers earlier this week, and news about the new appointees reached Adamawa people shortly after
  • Wonosikou stated that the recent appointments align with Governor Fintiri’s vision to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the government.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has appointed 103 assistants in three different categories.

The latest appointees include 37 principal special assistants, 45 senior special assistants and 21 special assistants.

This was announced by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou via a press statement released Friday evening.

The news about the new appointees reached Adamawa people hours after the governor inaugurated 30 special advisers appointed earlier in the week.

Wonosikou said the fresh appointments, like the ones made earlier, are in line with Governor Fintiri’s vision to strengthen government machinery and make it more people-oriented and effective.

Those appointed in the category of principal special assistants include Mr Leader Leneke, a lawyer who took on roles outside his training in Fintiri’s first term as governor.

Leneke was Fintiri’s chief Master of Ceremonies, MC, and it has been easy to guess that he would return into the role as Fintiri runs the course of his second term.
