  • Sir Marc Wabara congratulates President Tinubu on Supreme Court victory, praising his dedication and inclusive leadership
  • Wabara calls on opposition parties to accept the court’s decision and work together for national growth and development

Sir Marc Wabara, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended his warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court, on Thursday, ruled against the appeals filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party, affirming Tinubu’s victory after he had previously won at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT).

In his statement, Wabara, who played a significant role as a member of the Election Planning and Monitoring Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and also served on the Finance Committee of the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council (TSICC), praised Tinubu’s dedication and resilience.

He highlighted President Tinubu’s speech, in which the President expressed that the Court’s victory had reinvigorated his commitment to serving all Nigerians, regardless of their political affiliations, ethnic backgrounds, and faiths. This, Wabara emphasized, reflects President Tinubu’s compassionate and inclusive leadership.

Wabara, who also held the position of Deputy Director General, South, within the Coalition of Support Groups for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COSGABAT), called upon opposition parties to acknowledge the decision of the highest court in the land. He urged them to join hands with the President in his efforts to promote sustainable growth and development for the nation, aligning with his renewed Hope Agenda.

Furthermore, Wabara offered prayers for the President, seeking God’s continued guidance and success during his tenure in office.
