Archbishop Congratulates Tinubu on Supreme Court Victory, Advocates Unity

Archbishop JohnPraise Daniel, the Presiding Archbishop of Dominion Chapel International Church, National Deputy President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and Chairman of the Northern Coalition of Bishops & Apostles (NOCOBA), has extended his congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his triumph in the Supreme Court.

During a press conference held on Friday, he characterized the judgment as a landmark victory for democracy and a resounding testament to the strength, transparency, and integrity of the Nigerian judiciary system. Archbishop JohnPraise Daniel also called for unity and progress among Nigerians.

He stated, “The affirmation by the Supreme Court transcends party lines and political allegiances. It is a reflection of our collective will as a people. Now, more than ever, is the time for us, irrespective of our political leanings, to come together and rally behind President Tinubu’s administration.”

The Archbishop also commended the petitioners, Mallam Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, for their commitment to due process in resorting to the judiciary to resolve the dispute arising from the February 25th elections. He urged them to view the verdict as the divine will of God.

Addressing the pressing challenges facing the country, Archbishop JohnPraise Daniel emphasized issues like job creation, security, and economic stability. He lauded President Tinubu for his palliative initiative, which has benefited many Nigerians. However, he also acknowledged that more needs to be done, suggesting that supporting homegrown products and industries would strengthen the economy.

The Archbishop called for collective efforts to address these challenges and support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the country. He also welcomed the Honourable Minister of the FCT, Mr. Wike, and praised his transformative works in the capital.

In closing, Archbishop JohnPraise Daniel emphasized the need for unity and discouraged divisive actions, calling on all Nigerians to come together for the betterment of the nation.
