“I am going now to see the Commissioner of Health to report to him what is happening in my local government so that he will take it to the higher authority for necessary action.”

The outbreak, according to locals, began on Thursday when people, especially children, started experiencing stooling.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr Bodiya Buma, confirmed the incident, assuring that the state government is actively working to control the matter.
