The Lagos State Government has ordered all tankers and trailers to cease indiscriminate parking along the Cele Bus Stop heading towards Tincan Port, urging them to clear the area promptly.

Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, shared this directive in a statement released on Wednesday.

The aim is to decisively tackle the persistent congestion issues and ease the commuting difficulties experienced by people along this route.

The statement read, “The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Sola Giwa, said the directive underscores the commitment of the state government to ensuring the smooth flow of traffic and minimising disruptions caused by the persistent presence of these heavy-duty vehicles in the specified location, saying the order aims to enhance the overall mobility experience for residents and commuters in the affected area.
