A list of additional motor parks where Nigerians can receive a 50% transportation fee rebate for round-trip travel during the holiday season has been made public by the federal government.
On Friday, December 29, this was announced on Temitope Ajayi’s X (formerly Twitter) account, the senior special assistant to the president for media and publicity.
For those who wanted to travel during the holiday, the government had pledged to subsidise their airfare.
The 50% transportation rebate was initially expanded on Monday, December 25, as 128 road transport passengers on northern routes received a refund of 50% of their fares from one of the groups monitoring the implementation.
