On Tuesday, the minister conveyed her plea during a visit to the ailing actor at a private hospital in Wuse, Abuja. Musawa expressed sympathy for Zack Orji’s family, acknowledging him as a national asset and an influential figure in the Nollywood industry.

Ngozi Zack Orji, the wife of the veteran actor, extended her gratitude to the minister for her benevolence and for taking the time to visit her husband during this challenging period. The call for support underscores the importance of community assistance in aiding beloved figures facing health challenges within the entertainment sector.

Veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji has undergone brain surgery following a collapse at his residence on New Year’s Eve.

The actor is currently in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital in Abuja, where he is reportedly battling for his life.

According to reports, friends close to the ailing actor revealed that Zack Orji is currently unable to walk or talk, and extensive medical tests have been conducted to determine the nature of his condition.

The distressing incident occurred two days ago when Zack Orji slumped in the toilet, adding to concerns that had surfaced in recent weeks as he complained of weakness.

Officials have disclosed that the Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musawa, visited Zack Orji in the hospital, emphasizing the veteran actor’s significance as a national asset.

The First Lady of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu, also paid a visit to show support during this challenging time.

Providing an update on Zack Orji’s health, Musawa revealed that the actor had undergone brain surgery after being transferred to a private hospital in Abuja on Tuesday.

Urging Nigerians to rally behind the veteran actor, Musawa expressed confidence in Orji’s recovery and called for collective prayers.
