  • DSP Alfred Alabo said he would issue a formal statement concerning the arrest this Friday.
  • Recall that the attack left over 200 persons dead and thousands displaced.

The arrest of a few individuals in relation to the deaths that occurred on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023, in the Barkin Ladi and Bokkos Local Government Areas of the State has been confirmed by the Plateau State Police Command.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Alfred Alabo, made the disclosure to a source in Jos, the state capital, on Thursday night.

Remember that the two local council attacks resulted in thousands of people being displaced, over 200 fatalities, and numerous house fires.

However, the Police spokesperson did not give details of the arrest, saying he would issue a formal statement concerning the arrest this Friday.
