Mr. Muhammad Hazat Sule, the Director of Information and Communication at the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), reiterated the unwavering commitment of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to the infrastructural development and transformation of the nation’s capital.

During a visit to felicitate with Mallam Ahmed Ibrahim Shekarau on his appointment as the acting Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO)/Editor-in-Chief (Print) of Media Trust Group (MTG), Sule highlighted the substantial impact of Minister Wike on the FCT’s infrastructural drive.

According to Sule, the appointment of Nyesom Wike by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has proven beneficial for the 47-year-old territory. The rapid infrastructural development and stringent adherence to the Abuja master plan are notable achievements under Wike’s administration. Abandoned road projects have been revived and are currently being completed, contributing to the overall transformation of the FCT.

Expressing gratitude for the support of Media Trust in showcasing the activities of the FCT Administration, Sule assured the MTG of the administration’s continued backing in fulfilling its responsibilities to the country.

Addressing Mallam Shekarau, the new acting CEO, Sule acknowledged the responsibilities accompanying the elevation and emphasized the administration’s commitment to ensuring success. He stated, “Daily Trust is our own and for all, and we will do everything humanly possible to ensure that you succeed.”

In response, Mallam Shekarau commended the FCTA and Wike for their swift actions, emphasizing the importance of communicating achievements to the public. He encouraged prioritizing communication to garner citizens’ support within the first four years of the Tinubu administration. Shekarau lauded the director for the timely, factual, and accurate dissemination of information through Abuja Digest newspaper and Abuja Digest Online, urging continued transparency in communicating FCTA’s programs, projects, and policies to the public.
