Vice-President Kashim Shettima underscored President Bola Tinubu’s grasp of the entrusted responsibility bestowed upon him by the Nigerian people. Speaking at the Maolud Nabiyy celebration in Lagos, Shettima assured that the current administration is committed to safeguarding the rights of all citizens, irrespective of their religious or ethnic affiliations.

The event, themed “The Prophetic Solution(s) to the Questions of Humanity,” convened by Jam’iyyatu Ansariddeen (Attijaniyya), featured members of the Tijaniyya sect from various locations. A special prayer, involving the recitation of the Quran 4,444 times for Nigeria and its leader, was dedicated to the success of Tinubu’s administration.

VP Shettima acknowledged the continuous support of the Tijaniyya sect for Tinubu’s administration and emphasized the President’s commitment to protecting the rights and freedoms of all citizens. He highlighted the teachings of Prophet Muhammad as a guiding compass for managing diversity and promoting peace through dialogue and tolerance.

Calling for accountability in actions, Shettima urged individuals to embody the Prophet’s message of fairness and inclusivity in their daily interactions. Reflecting on the challenging times faced by the administration, he urged all political leaders to unite in governance, emphasizing the need to move Nigeria forward collectively.
