Nigerian woman dies in UK after graduation

  • She was a cybersecurity professional who recently graduated from University of Bradford

Oluwaseun Bello, a Nigerian cybersecurity professional and recent graduate of the University of Bradford, passed away in the United Kingdom on January 1, 2024.

The Nigerian community association in the UK announced her death in a statement on their X account on Monday.

The statement read, “Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Oluwaseun Bello. She is a cybersecurity professional who recently graduated from University of Bradford.

“She passed away on January 1, 2024. In this difficult time, we seek your support to help her family cover the burial expenses. Your contributions matter, please consider donating.

In another news WithinNigeria reported that at least seven family members have lost their lives after fire engulfed their apartment at Tudun Wada Quarters in Nigeria’s northwest State of Kano.

Father, mother, and five of their children all perished in the inferno that happened on Sunday night.

The incident happened near Tudun Wada Juma’at Mosque in Kano, NAN reports.
An official of Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullah, confirmed the incident.
