  • Osimhen failed to travel with the rest of the team to Bouake on Monday night

Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has refused to rule out Victor Osimhen from his side’s semi-final clash against South Africa.

Osimhen failed to travel with the rest of the team to Bouake on Monday night.

The Napoli hitman has had a bout of tummy run in the last two days.

The 25-year-old is expected to be assessed later today and will join the rest of the squad in Bouake if he is passed fit for the game.

“Until now, I can not answer right because it is about health. This afternoon, I can know better if he can play or not,” Peseiro told a press conference on Tuesday.

Wednesday’s encounter will hold at the Stade de la Paix, Bouake.

It will commence at 5pm Cote d’Ivoire time (6pm in Nigeria).
