Senator Monday Okpebholo has clinched the ticket of the All Progressives Congress for the Edo State gubernatorial election slated for September.
He was declared winner of the Edo APC governorship primary election by Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River.
Bassey, who was the Chairman of Edo APC shadow poll, disclosed that Okpebholo emerged the party’s candidate after scored 12,433 votes to defeat Dennis Idahosa, who scored 6,541 votes.
