Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, believes that prayer is the key to overcoming the current hardships faced by Nigerians.

He expressed this sentiment during the official flagging-off of the distribution of food items to the people of the state at Aminu Kano Triangle, Dutse.

The governor, addressing pressing national issues, underscored the importance of turning to spiritual solutions.

According to him, “In times of difficulty, our faith and prayers can serve as a powerful force for positive change.

“I urge citizens to embrace a collective prayer effort, especially during the month of Ramadan to navigate through these tough times.”

He said various practical measures are being taken by the state and federal governments to address economic and social issues.

The state commissioner for special duties, Auwalu Sankara, said the support includes the distribution of 150,0000 bags of rice, 150,000 bags of maize and 100,000 cartoons of spaghetti.

He said about 648,000 persons will benefit from the support aimed at reducing the hardship caused by inflation and the removal of subsidy.
