  • Urged the Muslim faithful to seize the opportunity of the holy month to renew their faith and trust in Allah
  • Wished students and Nigerians at large a peaceful and rewarding Ramadan filled with hope

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has greeted Nigerians, students and Muslims in particular as they commence the monthlong Ramadan fast.

NAPS in a message personally conveyed by its Southwest Treasurer, Ogunsola Adewale John on Sunday night, described Ramadan as a beacon of introspection, discipline, and compassion towards others.

According to him, the month of Ramadan is a period of spiritual upliftment and complete devotion to Allah for spiritual cleansing.

While recognising the values of the season, he enjoined fasting Muslims to increase their love for humanity, acts of charity, empathy, generosity, and gratitude.
