Former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his unflinching commitment to the success of the All Progressives Congress under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
Buhari expressed his readiness to ensure the party thrives under his successor when he felicitated with him on the occasion of his (Tinubu) 72nd birthday.
In a statement by the former President’s media aide, Garba Shehu, Buhari spoke in a phone call to President Bola Tinubu and passed his best wishes to the President.
The statement read, “In the course of the conversation, the former President said he was fully committed to the success of the APC administration under President Tinubu.
“In this regard, President Buhari prayed profusely for Tinubu’s success, saying that praying for a leader is imperative as his success and well-being are for the nation (everyone), adding that the accomplishments of the new administration must be seen as national achievements.”
