Kano State Hisbah Board has extended a mass wedding invitation to 50 journalists as part of its plan for the second batch of the program.

The Commander General, Sheikh Aminu Daurawa stated this while briefing newsmen on the upcoming mass wedding in the state.

He said 50 slots have been allocated for journalists to have their loved ones participate if they desire.

According to him, “following the success of the last mass wedding, which saw about 1,800 couples married off, the board decided to extend the invitation to interested members of professional groups and trade unions.”
